Scotch
Mario was drinking some scotch tonight, and I really liked the nice amber color - thought it'd make a nice photo. Of course, I have some dreaded shadows again, but they're not too bad... I blurred the background on this with a Gaussian Blur filter in Photoshop to make the subject pop a bit...

Maybe if you can put the subject farther from the background, the shadow would be less obvious (maybe completely hidden), and it would give you some space to play with your lights. I like that amber color too.
